Rado Watch Captain Cook Bronze. R32504205.
The iconic Rado Captain Cook returns but this time dressed in one of the year’s most trendsetting materials: bronze. The Rado Captain Cook Bronze collection remains inspired by the original designs released in 1962 that were named after British navigator and explorer James Cook but now incorporate an improved form including a 42mm bronze case which has the unique ability to change colour over time. When exposed to the pH levels in perspiration and moisture in the air, bronze develops a natural patina meaning this Rado men’s watch will become completely bespoke to its wearer.
Further modern improvements can be seen through the high-tech ceramic bezel and the Swiss watch manufacturer’s EasyClip System which allows you to change the blue calfskin leather strap quickly and easily without the need for any tools. The blue bezel is equipped with unidirectional functionality and a 60 minute scale alongside a 300 metre water resistant screw down crown and screw in case back. At the centre, the iconic Rado Captain Cook dial is renewed by a smooth blue backdrop, luminescent applied indexes, large arrow-shaped luminescent hands for hours, minutes and seconds and a date window at 3 o’clock. Protecting the dial is scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective treatment and housed within the Rado Captain Cook Bronze watch is the ETA C07.611 automatic winding movement which delivers an impressive power reserve of 80 hours.
